Beauty for beginners: College Edition

Back to school is quickly approaching and with that being said, it’s time to step our makeup game up! If you have the slightest idea on what to do, what to buy, or where to even apply makeup, this is the post for you. College is already expensive, so we’re not here to spend a fortune on makeup. This is beauty on a budget!

Face:

1. Primer: Maybelline Baby Skin

The key to flawless foundation w/o the cakeface is PRIMER! Never skip this step, ever…

2. Foundation: L’Oreal True Match

My personal favorite drug store foundation. When applied with a beauty blender, it leaves a flawless natural finish  to the skin.

3. Concealer: L.A. Girl Pro Concealer

4. Blush: NYX Powder Blush

5. Setting Spray: NYX Setting Spray

NYX has two setting sprays, dewy and matte. If you like the natural glow and shine then dewy would be perfect for you.

Eyes:

1. Eyeliner: Elf Gel Eyeliner, Elf Liquid Liner, or Rimmel Scandaleyes Khol Liner

2. Eye shadow: BH Cosmetics Eye Shadow Palettes

3. Mascara: Maybelline Great Lash

4. Brows: NYX Auto Eyebrow Pencil

Sponge: Beauty Blender

$20 may seem expensive for a sponge BUT it is honestly one of the greatest investments I’ve made. This damp sponge works wonders. Skip the cheap $3 sponges and get yourself a Beauty Blender!
