My Winter Skincare Favorites (2023)

It's Dry Skin szn! My skin usually goes through it during the winter, but I've discovered some really good products that keep my skin moisturized through the colder months.

The Youth To The People Superfood Cleanser is so easy on the skin and non-drying. I know a lot of people struggle with finding a cleanser that doesn't strip their skin, and honestly, this is the one. Packed with kale, spinach, and green tea, this cleanser has been my fav since I purchased it back in October. I honestly feel like for $38, this cleanser is worth it and has been lasting me a long time. 1-2 pumps are all you need. It's January, and I'm STILL not done with the full size!

Skinfix Triple Lipid-Peptide Cream is truly one of the best moisturizers for the winter. If your skin gives reptile like mine then this is for youuuuu. First of all, the packaging for this is top-tier. I love that you can buy refills and keep the pump. This product doubles down on moisture. You can literally apply this at night and wake up extra glowy. This product runs for $54, but it's completely worth it and lasts for months.

Fresh Black Tea Advanced Age Renewal Cream: if you got money in the bank, then this one is for you. Coming in a little pricey at $95 this is definitely one of those moisturizers that I use sparingly. I've seen excellent results in the past few weeks, the main one being an improvement in my dull skin. This Fresh Moisturizer contains squalane, ceramides, and retinol-like agents to improve the skin with every use. Be sure to do your research on those ingredients to ensure they're compatible with your skin!

Black Girl Sunscreen: I've seen people say this spf leaves them oily, and I don't disagree. However, if you struggle with dryness, then your skin will quite literally drink this up. I do opt for a different spf in the summer months, but this does a great job for winter, and it's Black-owned, need I say more?

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask: mmmyeah! dry lips, who??? If you don't know about this by now, then maybe you live under a rock. Some girls have called it mediocre, but this lip mask has been by my side since I purchased it. Very good at protecting and hydrating the lips overnight, and it also comes in some good flavors (or scents?? idk).
